The filing period for a place on the Democratic Primary ballot opens Saturday, November 8 and closes at 6 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025.
All applications must be submitted with either a filing fee or a petition in lieu of a filing fee (PDF) signed by the required number of qualified voters.
Where to File
For offices located entirely within Williamson County:
- File your application with the County Party Chair as outlined in the application instructions. (Section 172.022, Texas Election Code)
For offices that include Williamson County and other counties:
- File your application with the State Party Chair as outlined in the instructions. (Section 172.022, Texas Election Code)
For federal offices:
- File your federal application directly with the State Party Chair.
Submitting Your Application
The Williamson County Democratic Party Office, located at 1915 S. Austin Avenue, Suite 102, Georgetown, will be open on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM to accept applications for a place on the 2026 Democratic Primary ballot.
On the final day of filing, Monday, December 8, 2025, our office is open 10 Am to 6 PM.
