Bank Your Vote!

Bank your vote!
Vote Early!

Early Voting begins Feb. 20th.

Go vote - and vote Democrat from the top to the bottom of the ballot.
Polls will be open for 2 weeks. See the early voting schedule below for times and locations.
More than ever, it’s important to bank your vote – get it done and over with. Don’t wait till election day, too many things can happen. IF you need a reason why you should vote early, here are 7 of them:

1. You never know what might happen to keep you from the polls on Election Day.

Transportation problems: Flat tires, fender-benders, misplaced car keys, late bus, dead batteries—the transportation gremlins are real. Illness: you or family members wake up sick, slip/fall and wind up with broken bones - who knows?
Weather: What if it rains on election day and all of the intersections flood, or we get a tornado (it could happen) and you have to evacuate? Stay dry, don’t stress—vote early!

2. All those political calls will stop. Once you vote, the calls stop - every day, the county updates the records for who has voted, and if you’ve voted, you get off the call list. Just one small benefit to casting your ballot on the first day of early voting.

3. You can choose where you will vote. No restrictions - just remember to bring an ID.

4. The election is just too important to leave any chance that you might not be able to vote. Voting early gets it done. If there is a problem, you have time to rectify the issue to vote. You have time to get help if something isn’t right and they try to make you vote a provisional ballot instead of a regular ballot. Call 1-866-OUR-VOTE for election assistance. (Unless you're not registered - then you will have to vote provisionally).

5. Now you can focus on getting others to vote! Once you’ve voted, you can help other people vote. Text your family and friends.

6. Avoid the long lines on Election Day. You’ve voted already, so long lines don't matter.

7. Smugness. Self-righteousness. Enjoy it. Own it. Revel in it. You’ve already exercised your civic duty. BAM. Make sure you get your “I Voted" sticker and wear it every damn day between now and election day.

Early voting means you can do that. Make it a habit to bank your vote...then to ask others to do the same!
